I’ve got a dipshit on another site telling me that the Senate needs to be involved in every step of negotiating with Iran because that’s how you build coalitions. I would apparently know this if I understood the importance of comity and relationships in making deals.

Pfft. I understand sales. And negotiations. Anyone who’s ever had to negotiate for anything professionally knows that the fewer players involved in striking a deal the better. I don’t need to waste my time dealing with dozens of people with an opinion if there’s only one guy I need to talk to.

With all the different countries involved in the Iran negotiations, nothing would ever get done if each individual legislator in all those countries was involved or had to be consulted. And nothing would get done if the legislatures had to approve every new step along the way before an agreement was reached. WTF. It’s like these morons have never done business before.
