I just hate how they keep referring to us as “innocent”, because we are on this side of the ocean. They seem to forget that our country was founded by those that seen what was wrong with Europe, that we are, as a nation, older than most European nations in their present state. Hell, Germany and Italy were still city states, Spain and England were collapsing super powers that were based upon their conquest and failure to shape others to how they should see them. France would go through a period of utter terror. And historically, many of the problems in the middle east today is a result of europe.
