I think Jeb? expected for this election to be a cakewalk. After all, he is not only born to the purple, a member of the Bush dynasty, he was the guy best positioned to be the establishment candidate from the word “Go.” In a pre-Citizens United race, he would be leading the polls and Trump would be a joke who dropped out months back.
