What I suspect is happening is some Republicans who were reluctant on Trump are “coming home” because they hate Clinton more than Trump. Personally, I don’t think it will be enough to save him. And honestly I’m more optimistic than Nate is regarding states like Florida.

Lawrence O’Donnell had some interesting points last night.

He was saying in many states the polling is showing there might be a surprise from the NeverTrump Republicans that might not show up directly in the presidential polls because they are being stealthy.

What he was saying is if you look at down ticket Republicans they are carrying a higher percentage in their states than Trump is. He thinks that may be an indication those missing percentage numbers indicate Republicans going for down ticket Republicans and either voting for Hillary or not voting for Trump which will help Hillary.

I guess he felt the percentages should be more similar for Trump and say for the Senate Republicans.

He claimed the NeverTrump people never said they would give up and if they couldn’t change the candidate they would change it in the voting booth.
