I can understand the sentiment but I don’t think you get the overall sense of despair here. I find it hard to come forward and be vocal about supporting the republican party. Especially after some of the party and their leaders’ actions. I am sure I’m going to the court house soon to have my voter registration changed to IND. Why on earth would any person of color wish to expose themselves to ridicule when those of us “privileged” folks wouldn’t/won’t?

I am just basically happy to have a home here at LGF. I don’t think your register in Illinois. So i am really nothing. I am not ever voting DEM again. I know that.

I was telling a Republican that I found a blog home at LGF and they were disappointed and said they hate LGF and Red State is better. I did not care but it did make me go sheesh for a moment because the GOP seems to have so many strong opinions on who is the best conservative. That never really happened that much in the DNC camp.
