Every time I see the coverage of this, I remember talking to Paul Pink of Pink’s Hot Dogs here in Hollywood. Mr. Pink would tell the story of how Orson Welles would come to the stand eat 2 dozen chili dogs, a couple trays of fries, several bottles of soda and a slice of cake.He’s give Mr. Pink a $100 tip. Mr. Pink kept telling him “You know my chili dogs can be too much of a good thing” but Welles wouldn’t listen…

I make my own chili dogs which are THE BEST but I can’t eat more than 2 at a time.
