If the alternative is Turkey ceases co-operating with us against Daesh and proceeds to kick our A-10s out of Incirlik Air Base? More people will die as the war drags on. I won’t see hundreds or thousands die to save one man who as far as I know isn’t a US citizen (if he were a citizen, that would be different).

Though Incirlik is currently on lockdown, though Erdogan hasn’t accused the US of anything. But given the confused situation in the air last night, this doesn’t surprise me.
