This picture you are painting is doing more to argue against your apparent position for unlimited CC. What you just pointed out is that it is legal to just shoot anyone who has a gun regardless of any real threat, what you are decrying in regards to the vet at the Costco. “Threat” is a very subjective call, isn’t it?

To be fair to DF, I think he and Rogue are arguing different things.

Rogue is saying that the Costco vet shooting was a bad call on the part of the cops. I more or less agree, or at least sympathize, with this view.

DF is saying that people should be armed and ready to respond (rather than trying to prevent gun crime by making it illegal to carry in more places, which is my position on that front).
