Yup, the US elected Reagan, Nixon and W. Point taken. But Donald Trump is WAY beyond them in terms of bad craziness. WAY. He’s exponentially worse.

Has the country gotten so weird that a majority will vote for someone this heinous? I hope not. That would be a hell of a kick in the nads.

I wonder about the punditocracy’s third-party scenario. Imagine Clinton and Trump slanging each other for 6 months, driving each one’s negatives through the floor. In a low-turnout election, Clinton takes the Kerry map, Trump takes the ‘04 Bush map, except instead of Ohio being stolen for the GOP by Diebold, they ran John Kasich and he takes Ohio.

The election’s thrown into the House and they choose the candidate who came in an extremely distant 3rd in the Popular Vote. Would the American people sit still for this?
