Surprise, surprise, it’s the usual “Too wide a net!” argument from our buddies at the NRA. The reality being that too many potential gun owners (read: walking money bags) might be prevented from willfully filling the pockets of the gun lobby.

Thing that the NRA does that pisses me off the most aside from the whole questioning the masculinity of men who don’t share their fetish is how they constantly go back on positions they once held. LaPierre doesn’t give a shit about gun rights. He cares about the gun industry being wealthy as possible. He certainly isn’t worried about intruders. It’d be nice if the rank and file of the NRA saw him for the con man he is.
