What did they think was going to happen? You replace an Opus Dei whackadoodle with a Jesuit and you think it’ll be a smooth transition? Did you learn nothing after Vatican 2 when the counterforce decided to ban contraceptives after John 23 died?

Catholics are always at war internally. I know, it’s why I’m an ex-Catholic. It’s not a religion, it’s a government.
