With the rise of the Tea Party’s popularity, CNN is trying to reach out to the bigots and secure their loyalty. But they’ve just validated Erickson, so even if he doesn’t work out, he’ll have CNN on his resume and he can move to Fox when they realize what a mistake he was and dump his sorry ass.
