Well, the article is correct in that it reflects the double standard that exists, but that double standard has always been amazingly easy to see if you were willing to look. Just looking at our language, never mind popular culture and law and everything else, should be enough to reveal it.

The fact that we don’t really have a male word for “slut” tells you everything you need to know.
