I think junior doing any kind of testifying would be highly problematic since he, like his father, never met a truth. Having him as a witness would likely damage any case.

I get what you’re saying, and agree in theory, but I’d trust a Gotti before I’d trust a trump with anything resembling truth.

It’s interesting you bring up Gotti when I was just about to write a post about how all this needs to be seen less like addressing a major political scandal and more like taking down the mob. We’re gonna end up making a lot of unsatisfactory deals with a lot of very unsavory characters. That’s going to mean plea deals and immunity exchanged for testimony, papers, emails, texts, etc. Hell, given the look into the Trump empire’s finances, we might have to console ourselves that while Don Jr doesn’t go away for perjury, he will be left dodging bill collectors to his dying day.
