Heh. Hyperbole rules the day on TSA screening. Never mind that the screening began under Bush and was continued by Obama Admin - and that the FBS are now more widespread after initial testing under the Bush Admin. The anger is about who is doing the implementing - even though it’s the same plan outlined under Bush.

Fact is that the FBS impose far less radiation on people than a transcontinental flight would. Depending on the FBS model, it doesn’t even use ionizing radiation, which is what could increase risks of cancer.

Then, there’s the pilots opposition - which is really about their insistence not to be screened at all.
