My favorite cookies.

Pre-heat oven to 350 F.

1/2 C. butter
1 C. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 C. sour cream

1 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1 C. quick oats
1 C. chopped pecans
1 C. finely chopped dates (buy the whole dates)
1/2 C. raisins
1/2 C. chopped candied cherries
Candied cherries (halved) to put on top of each cookie

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Stir in sour cream
Mix together the dry ingredients.
Slowly mix dry ingredients into butter mixture.
Stir in the rest.
Drop on greased cookie sheets and put a halved cherry on the top of each.

Bake until golden brown on top.
