As a matter of history, Three Mile Island was one of Peanut Carter’s finer moments.

As most of you know I am no fan of Carter’s. But he went there during the height of the panic and walked around with Rosalyn, putting his own neck on the line if a total meltdown had occurred.

In sharp contrast to Bush after 9/11, who went and hid somewhere until Rove gave his Howdy-Dubya puppet the all-clear.

Is that when Jimmah the craven a-hole roasted his peanuts?
And of course let’s not forget the exploitative reaction of Hollywood to the near disaster, with brilliant performances by the likes of Jack Lemmon, Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep and Cher.
