You know what I meant. The midterms which are increasingly turning into our only chance to start stemming the tide before it truly becomes irreversible.

I think that’s similar to the way the rwnjs felt about 2016. And some still feel that way. They see the browning of America as an irresistible force turning the USA to the left. And as America goes, so goes the world, to some extent. The oligarchs colluded out of attempted self-preservation. So they still fight, and still support Trump. The midterms won’t be easy, and it won’t be the last battle. But we will win.
