Mr. Johnson is doing a good service reporting on Chuck … he has a long history of Chuck’s crap.

And he does have to protect his own good name, since when the media reports on Chuck they frequently confuse the two.

Reporting on some loser’s divorce is not a “good service”, like reporting on and debunking the hateful things he says is.
