I knew early that I didn’t want kids, or a disease, so I’ve been an honorary member of the Trojan board of directors since I was a teen. My spouse knew all of this and was supposed to be fine with it until she changed her mind a few years ago. She has some medical issues that keep her from getting pregnant (which I used to think was a bonus) so, somehow, I’ve gone from wrapping that rascal to spending almost $18k over the last 3 years trying to help her get pregnant through the modern marvels of science. Sometimes life isn’t fair.
