That happened to me with Network Solutions. They used to be okay, and then web.com bought them and turned them into high pressure jackasses.

So I contacted DreamHost where I have some sites hosted and found I could transfer the domains over to them for like 1/3 the cost of Network Solutions and they list the info privately for no additional cost which Network solutions charged another $10/$15 for.

Now I have the sites and the domains all at the same company. Much easy to deal with it all. So far DreamHost has been great. Easy to deal with, good online dashboard to work the sites, etc. Love me some DreamHost!

Be careful. We’ve had some serious problems with Dreamhost recently. We were totally unable to update the installations of WP, or the plug-ins, or hell, even to upload a new picture.

The .tmp directory had filled up, and they had to go in an manually delete everything in it because reasons.
