Last year, I was helping a young student review her science homework. There was a question about dinosaurs, so I asked her “When did the dinosaurs go extinct?” to which she answered, “About 65 million years ago. Well…..except for the birds. They’re basically the last surviving dinosaurs.”

I was quite proud of her - she’s only 11 years old and I’m glad to see that kids here in the Czech Republic are at least learning properly.
