It’s not that simple. If all the air were at the same temperature, however high that temperature might be, there would be no winds.

Temperature differentials drive storms. Evaporation and condensation play a part too, and that, we’ll have more of. But now we’re balancing off effects. That’s always difficult, to get the cancellation right when enormous effects are on both sides of the ledger.
