this isn’t 1968. the demographic shift between 1968 and 2016 is enormous. the polls aren’t that close. Don’t be scared by media horse-racing. In national polls, Trump is close. In state-by-state polling, Trump is basically eliminated. This is like chess. Lots of completely won chess games look very close to the average viewer, when in reality it would take an unbelievable loss of concentration on the part of the winning side to allow the losing side back in the game.

After 2000, I learned that there is no point at all to national polls.
