That’s but one spin on the order to do what ever was needed to secure the safe release of the captain. I agree he did not order the snipers to fire, just gave the military a blank check to do what it felt was best.
As successful as the mission was today, I can only imagine what some would say if it had failed. Suck it up guys, this is one issue, for one day, BHO might not have screwed up by just letting the Navy do the job.
