Yes, NOLA is doomed.

But then again, so is Las Vegas (ironically from the inverse of NOLA’s problem). Yet we saw what happened when the President of the US tried to mention this around 2 years ago - howls and gnashing of teeth.

So, no one is going to do anything about NOLA’s demise… or Las Vegas’ for that matter.

Large civilizations crumble, they don’t go into the dark suddenly.
