The Police are there to serve and protect. They did neither on those videos. When I used the word, it was used to express my disgust, and calling them thugs, IMO, was too soft.

You could call them unethical assholes who don’t understand the basics of their jobs— to protect the general safety and welfare. You could call them any number of things.

So why is calling them one particular derogatory word so important?
