I hate smug. A lot of liberals in my circles are gloating: “Those people” got sick because they were “stupid” and “immoral”.

I have no love for those selfsame people. But the concept of health as morality will blow back on us. I hate smug and too many liberals are that.

But don’t worry. I’m not smug about some Trumper being sick.

Just numb. If they don’t care when their little boy splatters his brains all over the living room, I don’t care either. They get sick, I won’t say a word.
