My eldest first cousin called me this morning to wish me happy birthday. She is one of the three people in my family who still speak to me (her eldest daughter also does).

She wanted to catch me up on Michigan politics as well. She’s no longer a “pox on both your houses” type of voter, but all in on Michigan Democrats now.
