Is it the best look? No, but everything she did was perfectly legal.

And all told, I think I’d rather have a representative who gets freaky from time to time and votes to help people over some corrupt crotchety old bastard who only wants to take rights away from my friends and family.

Legal but unwise and many voters may reject her for flawed judgement. This is in Virginia not Nevada or California.
