I agree - I couldn’t stand ‘The Da Vinci Code’. He sells because it is not demanding reading (chapters about 2-3 pages long, movie-script style, etc.)

My wife wanted to see the Da Vinci Code; we got the movie, and I had a lot of it figured out early, and was telling her how it would go.

Oh well, if I ever complete a novel I’m working on, I hope it sells even half as well. But first, I have a couple of short stories to finish.
