I saw Clarke in the most popular version of Return To Forever - I had the good fortune to interview Al DeMeola and ended up watching their set from behind Lenny White’s drum riser at the Spectrum in Philly.

That band was stacked with monster players.

backstage is pretty cool, but the absolute worst place to hear what’s going on
