Agreed, and I figured that’s what you meant by putting old in there, but it pushes my buttons for some reason - I used to check in most days at DKOS (not so much anymore) and they seemed to be quite fond of the phrase:

Old white men.

Try searching for it over there sometime. Three words that should have no negative meaning are strung together and offered as an explanation for all the ills and injustices of the world. I’m a white man. With any luck, one day I’ll be an old, white man. Hopefully people won’t hold it against me.
