I did not read the entire bill, but I did not see dollar set aside for extra lions down at the coliseum, nor one program for crucifixion mentioned.

As far as I know, the right-wing claims that the stimulus bill is “anti-religious” or “anti-Christian” are based entirely on ONE line that prohibits institutions of higher learning from using stimulus funds to construct or renovate buildings specifically dedicated for worship (even completely non-denominational chapels that any and all religious groups can reserve for use on a first-come, first-serve basis).

This got mutated into “colleges will have to ban Christian groups from accessing empty classrooms and multipurpose meeting rooms in the student activity center or library, or else they’ll forfeit the stimulus money.”
