This is America, where the “History” channel specializes in Ancient Aliens.

As an amateur historian, I found that staying away from the soi-disant History Channel did wonders for my hypertension. I’m guessing that they stayed with The History Channel because The Pull Stuff Out of Our Ass Channel wouldn’t fit on a chyron.
