Wall street represents the antithesis of progressive goals.

On its face, that seems to be an incredibly broad and sweeping statement. As best I can tell, Wall Street is (at worst) agnostic to pretty much all social progress. They want to keep money flowing, rather than having it stashed under mattresses, which is generally good for the economy (and I like being employed). They are an engine of globalization, which may well lead to more efficient use of resources.

I mean, I think they’re a bunch of scum-sucking one-percenter bastards that have to be held in very close check, but “antithesis of progressive goals”?

I think that’s called Ted Cruz.
