I promise I’ll have that discussion with you later, but I think it’d be much cooler and nicer if you get to reap the kudos from everyone who will like that letter first— before I come in with any objections to it. :)

Seriously, most people here will definitely be on your side about the letter and I don’t want to rain on your parade by jumping in and being all negative about that letter right away.

I think it’s great that you posted it; I enjoyed reading it; and I look forward to giving you my issues with it a little later, if that’s ok.

For now I’ll just say that this former democrat, now republican writer betrays a suspicious familiarity with GB talking points and even certain kinds of language peculiar to GB and some others on the right. (i also promise I won’t leave my claim at that, but will substantiate it when we have a discussion later.)

Thanks again for posting it; I think it’s very worthwhile reading.
