THey know full well their only real constituents are the ones that PAY them. Everyone else can fuck off, especially those that will crawl over molten glass to vote GOP just to spite a minority, because there’s literally nothing that could be done to turn them away.

there are republican voters in those blue states (not deep rural red states). they voted for their congresscritter who may be an R. piss them off enough and maybe they wont next time, let alone state and local, or president in 2020
