With all due respect, that phrase has been lathered, rinsed, and repeated for a decade now, to little effect.
Maybe it’s too ambitious, and we should substitute ’ live and let live ‘.

TEN years? Try 45, at least. It’s what we told ourselves we were doing in Vietnam, where it failed miserably. And it’s what we’ve been encouraged to tell ourselves again since 2003.
