I dunno.
We have an ex-governor who just got out of jail for crimes that didn’t really hurt anyone as far as I’ve been able to determine.

We have to decide if want Jail to be punishment, protection for the rest of society or Rehab.

Honestly, I feel for a lot of criminals. Not for the time or the punishment for their actual crimes, but because so many good kids become part of the “system” and it is soooo hard to get out of it without money and parents who are willing to work hard for you.

One thing leads to another and a career criminal is made. I think very few are actually “born”.

Just one of the many, many issues we face when trying to live in a just society.
