So a person can break the law, steal from you and it’s ok because she is a good mom?

Nothing wrong with showing a little mercy & compassion sometimes. It’s not as if she killed someone or mugged someone’s grandma. It was wrong, she knows it, and she needs to know HE knows it, but there’s nothing wrong with giving someone a second chance. Especially when there’s a kid involved.
