I don’t see the gender barrier as that big in America. Does anybody else? Hillary lost not because she’s a woman, but because she’s a Clinton.

I guess I don’t think Hillary lost because of her gender, either. For people who don’t pay close attention to details (which would be a lot of people who voted (D) this time), Obama was simply much easier to like.

I honestly think it came down to that. It’s like American Idol with some people.

Having said that, had she been the one to run against McCain, I think the gender thing may have been an issue.
