In a rational world, New Orleans would be wound down as indefensible. No matter what we do with respect to AGW, there’s enough momentum to ensure that NOL goes under the waves.

Houston too, but not nearly so early in the game and not on the whim of the inevitable Storm Too Big.

Actually, Houston can likely be saved. But you’re likely right about New Orleans. The ground is just too low.
