I still think Bernie’s efforts in SC were a net negative to his final result there. Those were some ridiculous margins.

That’s because people like my “campaign kid” worked their asses off for Hillary. They not only worked hard, they worked smart—they knew who to call and what to say and they did it week in, week out.

Bernie had a lot of peeps on the ground (and, as I’ve mentioned before—they paid their “volunteers” if they worked more than 20 hours a week. So, depending on which story they were pushing, sometimes they called them paid staff and sometimes volunteers), but they really weren’t as effective or well-organized.

That why early on, when people were saying Hillary was taking everything for granted and expecting a coronation, I cried BULLSHIT. She carried one county in SC in 2008 and took all of them this time.

BTW, my campaign kid is gone—already working up in North Carolina. Sniff.
