That was a deadly North Sea oil rig disaster, and many people died, while 11 died in this disaster in the Gulf.

That is tragic.

The US disaster, though less costly in terms of lives lost, comes at a time when the President’s latest off shore drilling decision is being attacked by both environmentalists and the DBD crowd. A protracted oil spill, the effects of which will be televised, will give strong PR to the environmentalists trying for the ear of the President.

That is a blessing.
