May well be but I am really curious about this. He definitely either had some parental or family influence on his bigotry or seriously educated himself. A lot of people do not know about the Rhodesia regime and Ian Smith. In fact, it’s something I myself barely know much about and history is my forte.

I only found about Rhodesia and Ian Smith as a result of some Wikiwalking one evening - it was somewhat related to a text I was proofreading, and the author had made a mistake.

It’s not all that well-known - sort of a footnote in the history books.
