*SIGH* You know what gets me about that crap? These extremist assholes pretend that they’re practicing some sort of pure, original form of Islam, yet from the time when Islam first began to spread all the way through its golden age of empire—when it’s influence stretched from western China to the European Mediterranean—all of those ancient artifacts survived. None of the caliphs seemed to feel the need to destroy them. I guess they weren’t Real Muslims™ according to the Daesh thugs.
