Gazactly! I almost feel bad for Shapiro, discovering all the people he thought were his friends see him as one of THEM, another token to be treated well as long as he toes the line, but dumped like week-old fish if he doesn’t.

If he weren’t such a loathsome little turd, I’d feel bad. But he is. So I don’t.

Similarly, I don’t have much sympathy to spare for Jewish supporters of the Nazis. They should have known better back then, and Shapiro has no excuse for not knowing better now.
