I have no rules of thumb on age gaps.

It’s the people involved that matter. If both parties are consenting adults, it’s up to them. It’s the two adults in the relationship that are either going to make it work or break it.

Hear, hear. I was 26 and my husband 46 when we got married. Lasted until he died at 88. Let’s leave the moralizing for non-adults.
