Is there a rule that legislation HAS to be signed at the White House? What’s stopping Congress from passing that shit and having Trump sign it at Mar-A-Grift-O?
Nope. Technically, Trump doesn’t even have to sign it. As long as Congress is in session, once the bill has been presented, he has 10 days (plus Sundays) to sign or veto - if he doesn’t do either, it becomes law.
